Adrian Volney is an accredited member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), with 25 years as a Marine Surveyor and Yacht Consultant, experienced on both Pre-purchase and Marine Insurance Surveys.

He lives in Sarasota County, on the Gulf Coast of Florida and travels throughout Florida to survey yachts, boats, and marine vessels on both the east and west coast, using the standards prescribed by the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA). He is also a member of the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNAME).
Adrian performs complete Marine Appraisals for condition and value on vessels over 25’ in length and up to 150’ in length. Well known by both Yacht Brokers and Underwriters, Adrian performs rigorous tests and evaluations to document the overall condition and value of the boats that he surveys. 
The quality inspection and evaluation in each boat or yacht survey conducted by Adrian Volney allows the boat buyer the opportunity to get a clear report on the overall status of the boat or yacht they plan on purchasing. Recommendations are made for the repairs, updating and maintenance necessary to bring the vessel up to standard in safety and value.
